Downtown Tampa--need several recs
Will be at a clinical meeting in downtown Tampa (at the Marriott) next week and need a couple recommendations for downtown Tampa.
First is a good breakfast place that is either within 3 blocks of the Marriott or within several blocks of a trolley stop.
Second would be a Chowhound kinda place with good Cuban food and not overpriced. Usual disclaimers apply--not concerned about slow or mediocre service if the food warrants it. And no place that has problems with the health department. I already know about the Columbia and intend to go there, but that's more Spanish than Cuban, right?

Did you find anything new or exciting that you would recommend to go and eat? Not much listed for downtown tampa that is recent and I will be visiting from out of country and would like to suprise my gf with some good places to go and eat. Im open to any and all recommendations from low end to high. I am not limited to downtown either as I will have a car.
I will also be traveling around Florida from Miami to Naples, Ft Myers, Sanibel, Tampa, St. Pete, Ft Lauderdale so if anyone has any places to recommend to eat in any of those places, that would be great! I've seen the Florida's best chefs of Florida James Beard awards nominees 2012 so I have a lil something to go off on.
