Best Chinese also dim sum in Henderson NV

In-laws in town quite elderly, not wanting to go to the strip. Any good recommended places in Henderson? They love Chinese food, also Hawaiian style food also....thx

Great Eastern on Eastern, just above Serene. I haven't found it noticeably different from places along Spring Mountain or Ping Pang Pong, and if there are deficiencies, the short ride for folks on our side of town certainly makes up for it.

I believe Alan C. is referring to East Ocean Dim Sum & Seafood. The restaurant is located 9570 S. Eastern Avenue just north of Silverado Ranch Blvd. The reviews have been uniformly positive:

Yes, I think East Ocean might be the best Chinese restaurant in the Las Vegas area.

Sorry. I meant "East Ocean". "Great Eastern" is on Jackson Street in Sf (where I lived until 6 months ago).

East Ocean has changed hands. New chef "brought in from San Francisco". Dinner has gone downhill. Don't know about dim sum.
