Just curious to know what you think if this spot. Will be in the are next week and thinking on stopping by for a fish sandwich, soft shell crab ( if they have them ) or someting else. I could always get a Hogie or Steak and thought that I would try something different?? Thanks in advance..
Their prepared food is very good (cooked to order), but they are take out if you were not aware.
There is a counter with 4 seats at the shop. The ahi cheesesteaks and tuna tacos are awesome. All the food is homemade too. Worth a trip. Good luck
Be sure to specify EXACTLY what you want on your sandwich. I didn't and only realized there was no tartar sauce after I got home, sad squirrel.
Definitely worth the trip! I go there at least once a week to get a lunch. Their fresh fish selection is out of this world. I have never seen such a variety and an education. From the way things are caught to exactly where they come from, they are really doing something that no other place does. Get the Cod Father (Fish Burger) or the Salmon Burger (dynamite). If you are there you have to try the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. It's a staple. Enjoy! And by the way, love your mag!
I had lunch at Ippolito's on Saturday and the seafood is certainly good and the food was cooked to order. I loved the fried oysters- crisp, cooked perfectly, fresh. The fish and chips had good fish and was nicely cooked, but both fish and chips were not crisp. The Mexican lobster roll was disappointing even though the ingredients were fresh except the tortillas which were stale and tasteless. The filling did not have much lobster and just did not work for me.
The people were friendly, lots of tasting - so this place has a lot of potential.
