Restaurant Wedding (ceremony + reception) nyc or brookyln

We recently got engaged and are looking to have a budget friendly wedding. We were thinking of having the ceremony and reception in a restaurant for about 30-50 people. We'd like to keep the total cost under about 8,000. Do you have any suggestions for places that can accommodate us in Manhattan or Brooklyn?

  1. Acquaintances did something like this at Colbeh, but that was about six years ago, and I don't know what they paid. They were paying for their own wedding and were very price conscious.

    1. How about Pardes? You could have the chupah at Grand Army Plaza and then the reception at Pardes, and I'm sure Moshe (a regular commenter on this board) could do you a deal.

Abigael's also has a party space, but might be more expensive than your budget.

But you can fit 30. It depends on how big it ends up being.

Between the inside and outside, you might be able to fit 50. Also depends on the weather, as to whether you could use the outside area.

        2. Mike's Bistro is a great option if you can possibly get the entire place for the day. It has multiple rooms upstairs and down for different parts of your simcha. Otherwise I second Abigails as there is plenty of space and Chef Jeffery Nathan will take royal care of you.
