Any opinions on Chez Ma Grosse Truie Chérie

    We went as a group this summer. Great service and you can't help to support morally their endeavors but the execution is average IMO. We weren't transported by the food. It wasn't bad but it didn't "sing". Great "concept" but the execution is not unique enough to support it.

    Of the big pig platter the favorite was the ribs (but there weren't enough of them apparently).

      I went once about a year ago, and while it wasn't bad, there was nothing compelling enough to make me want to return. In that neighborhood I much prefer Au Petit Extra and Le Valois.

          Had a great meal there last month. I really enjoyed the giant scallops. The service was awesome too. We sat on the terrasse, with furry blankets and heat lamps to keep us toasty, and it was really cozy.
