Solo dining?

coming to Vancouver for a conference and looking for some solid options for solo dining. Sit at bar, fun atmosphere but high quality, any cuisine. (from NYC and a momofuku like place would be a good analog)
Thanks

Nab a seat at the bar at Bao Bei (Chinatown) or at one of the izakayas - Hapa or Guu both have a few branches around town. You could also try Chambar for moules frites and cocktails.

(sister restaurant Medina, next door, excellent for breakfast/lunch)

I have no idea what momofuku is but Vancouver has some great restos with bars. Check out Blue Water Cafe, L'abbatoir, or Boneta.

BWC is in Yaletown, The other two in Gastown.
