Great venue for 20-30 people

Hi all,

I'm throwing a going away party/baby shower for my brother and his wife. Since it will be co-ed and neither of them want a traditional "baby shower," and also be a going away party for them, I'm looking for something casual and laid back. A patio would be a big plus. Initially wanted a mexican spot, but am open to other ideas. East or Westside and anything in between.
Would love some suggestions to jump start the planning!

I was recently doing research for an evening, coed bridal shower with similar criteria. Without knowing your budget, here are a few options I came up with (all have patios or other outside space):

Napa Valley Grille - Westwood
Sonoma Wine Garden - Santa Monica
Zengo - Santa Monica
Simon LA - West Hollywood
Il Fornaio (the one in Santa Monica)
Wood & Vine - Hollywood

Note: Food quality varies, but they're at least decent and go up from there.

Recently attended a co-ed baby shower at El Cholo Mexican on Wilshire in Santa Monica. They had about 30 people in the upstairs private room and bar. It was a lot of fun. Food is not gourmet, but fun Mexican with lots of good apatizers and drinks. Prices are reasonable.

Westside Tavern has two nice private rooms and it shouldn't cost you a fortune.
