where to find "chewy" noodle in Los Angeles area
I'm craving for "chewy" noodle, that is a type of Asian noodle (usually in soups with chicken broth) which has thicker appearance and chewy texture. A couple of years ago rumor started that a place in El Monte has this type of noodle, but to my disappointment it's actually not chewy noodle, just really thick (fat) noodle similar to udon. In Indonesian this chewy noodle is called "bakmi karet" (bakmi = noodle, karet = rubber). Anyone know where to find this in a noodle place in LA?
