Good breakfast near Edgware Road, London

Hi

I'll be staying in London just off Edgware Road in mid-August. I'm looking for a good, reasonably priced place for breakfast as none is offered in my hotel. Any thoughts? Thanks

Edgware road and Chapel Street

There is a patisserie valerie on the corner of Chapel Street and a Pret on Praed st which is opposite Chapel St across the other side of Edgware Road.
Further up Praed St towards Paddington station there's Maderia cafe who do quite good coffee and Pasteis de natas.
If you fancy it you could get Lebanese sausage and eggs from one of the many Lebanese places on Edgware Road. One of the Maroush's is probably a good bet but I've only had lunch not Breakfast.

How is Cocomaya these days? If it's still good, the various pastries would make for an excellent breakfast.

There is a neat cafe at the top of Alfie's Antiques Market on Church Street.

Also, it is takeaway, but the bagel place at 394 Edgeware has surprisingly good bagels. Bagels Etc. is the name.
