Fabulous Dessert Near Lake Forest

My company is giving me a going-away party and I get to pick the venue. We are located in Lake Forest and also near to the mall area in Vernon Hills. Normally this would be a happy hour type thing, and I have plenty of ideas for beer and wine. But since I'm pregnant, that's out. I was thinking of going more for a fabulous dessert kind of thing, but I have no idea where to go.

As far as price and niceness factor, it should be on par with a bar type place. Nothing too upscale.

I used to work in Lake Forest and our office tradition was to get a cake from Gerhards bakery for your birthday. They were fantastic. The chocolate cake with raspberry is very good.
