Need resto suggestions for 10-15 near River Rock in Richmond

Hi everyone,

I'm planning on heading to the River Rock this weekend for a bit of gambling and live music and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good restaurants near the casino.

Or, if you have any suggestions for restaurants in Vancouver/Richmond that have live music and dancing.

Or, if you know of any neat restos/bars good for conversation and drinks for the late 20s-ish crowd, that won't cost an arm and a leg...Maybe just an arm...not too pricey or pretentious please!

If you haven't noticed, I haven't really narrowed down what to do for my birthday, so any suggestions help.

I really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

correct me but it sounds like you all want to just have fun, which for a bday is a great idea - so why not just stay at the river rock --- if it's raining, that is a good idea, if it's a party, that is a good idea.

we sometimes go there for shows - it's a good theatre - have you looked at what's playing on your chosen day --- it's not really my scene but everyone is always very polite and helpful and there is the skytrain canada line right there, all under cover of weather.

when the RR first opened, we ate at the italian place - it was good and if it was my thing to go to casino or at convention i would go back --- but you'd have to check recent reviews on Urban Spoon and here and other sites.
