Aztec Chicken

Husband and I went over to the new Aztec Chicken place located on Wells Branch near 35. The chicken was pretty good, if not a bit dry, but their sauces were the real winners here. There were two. A spicy red sauce and a mayo based one that had a bit of a tang. Unfortunately, the side dishes left a LOT to be desired. We got the pasta salad and it was nearly inedible. It was so drenched in dressing it was almost all liquid. The fries looked as if they had been laying around for awhile and I have seen "steamed" vegetables that gray looking since my high school cafeteria.

Bottom line: If you like rotisserie chicken I definitely recommend it, but just the chicken. Keep clear of the sides.

I picked up some chicken today, stayed away from the sides per your recommendation. The chicken was tasty. Nothing earth shattering but still decent. I'd go back if I was in the mood for grilled chicken.

I'd be curious how this one compares to the expensive Fresca place. This is the former Long John Silver's right? I thought it had a different name.

Is this in the old A&W building?

It's next door to Sonic near Bill Millers. I'm not sure what it was before hand but I thought it was a newly building.
