West village group dinner- good drinks a must!
Looking for a good suggestion for small group (7-8 people) for dinner in West Village on a SaturdY night. All cuisines welcome. Upbeat, lively young environment. Good drinks selection. Price point around 40-50$ pp. thanks!!

Then you're really looking at the "cheap eats" category as "good drinks" can easily run AT LEAST $10-12 each. I mean, if you really are talking about well-crafted, top shelf liquor, then two eats up half your total budget and we haven't even discussed tax or tip yet.
Just to keep in mind as you do your research....
I was going to say Fatty Cue but that will blow your budget.
You could do Numero 28, but that would be more wine-focused.

Since Fatty Cue is shared plates, it's do-able within the OP's price range, assuming that they're not including tax and tip in the that number. Plus, they take reservations and have the room for a party of that size, so I strongly recommend it. You might only get one drink, but it's still worth it and better than the other options.
