Good and cheap in Warwick RI area

So, we are back down in RI this weekend moving my son into a new apartment for hopefully the last time. His last tuition payment is coming up, so I'm not wanting to spend a lot of money but want to see what's good at a reasonable price.

I've seen Mike's Kitchen and Dave's Bar & Grill recommended a few times. My son is definately a pizza and burger kind of guy, so I'm not depriving him! We are staying at the Comfort Suites in West Warwick for a location reference.

Thanks for the replies. A couple of good reccomendations. Now I have something to look forward to in addition to lugging my son's furniture around!

I know a couple of young ladies that would meet this requirement.....

Go to Mikes...you won't find more, or better for less.

You may want to try Fat Belly's - either the Warwick or East Greenwich locations.

We've been there once. Thanks for reminding me. We had a great time there and the food was good.

Totally agree with Fjm Fat Bellies is a fun place typical food nice burgers pizzas noisy but clean fun. Mikes is just typical italian food people talk about Polenta all it is cream of wheat made from corn. A 5 year old kid can make it they pile it up so it will last 3 more meals when you get home.

Who talks about polenta? Personally, I hate the stuff. Don't see what's wrong with "typical" Italian/American food and why a beer and burger joint would be preferable.
To each his own I guess.
