It's a Welsh cheese made with ale and whole grain mustard.

Sorry, It is a cheddar made with Welsh brown ale and whole brown mustard seeds.
The reason I didn't include these specifics is that the cheese is unique, and you either know it or you don't!!

If I remember correctly it's a spicy cheese too. I've tried it and liked it, but did not love it.

I'm not one of the "so many of us" that needs specifics. I like to learn from experience.

I've bought it at Whole Foods in Alewife, if you're willing to travel that far. I have also seen it at Trader Joe's recently, so maybe call the one nearest you and check if it's back in rotation.

I've seen it at several Trader Joe's, but as you know, you can't always count on their inventory day to day. I'd also check with the Concord Cheese Shop.

I've seen it on occasion at the Wine Shop in Reading, but it's been a while since I looked for it.

It was a very limited-time special at TJ's -- they only carried it for a month, sadly.

I've bought it at the Boston Cheese Cellar in Roslindale.
