Day trip to eastern shore/st. michaels/oxford

With the beautiful weather forecasted for tomorrow hubby and I are planning a day trip to the eastern shore. Any recommendations for places to go for lunch? Seafood is always good, but we're open to other types of cuisine as well. Something mid-range $15-20 for an entree. We may do some kayaking during the day, so we'll probably be in more casual clothes. Thanks!

We ended up getting lunch at the pub at Inn at Perry's Cabin. I really wanted to check out the inn. My husband had an absolutely delicious burger and I had a great crab cake sandwich. I almost never get crab cakes, but this was worth it - big lump crab, very little filler - light roll and a nice aioli/tarter to go with. Will have to try out the other recommendations the next time we take a day trip.

This is probably too late but in St. Michael's, we had a great lunch at St. Michael's Crab and Steak house on the water. It seemed like it would be really touristy with food along those lines but the seafood we had there was excellent, juicy, fresh.

In Easton, we have really enjoyed the BBQ Joint (brisket especially). Also enjoyed Out of the Fire- nice local place with lots of charm and food food.

In St, Michael's, we've had good experiences at Ava's pizzeria and the Big Pickle Bar (great sandwiches). Skip Foxy's outdoor bar. Haven't been to the Crab Claw but I suspect it is your typical crab deck restaurant- could be a good choice if the weather is good and seafood is a must.

I would also recommend heading past St. Michaels to Tilghman's Island and eating at the restaurant on the other side of the drawbridge (I think it is the Bridge Restaurant- not the Bay 100 at the Knapps Narrows Marina) for location. Food is nothing special (but decent) but you cannot beat sitting on the deck there and watching the crab boats, the skipjacks, and all the water birds walking around. Plus the drawbridge goes up every 15 minutes or so.

Haven't eaten in Oxford, but the ferry ride over is great.
