Babbo joins Opentable!

Currently lots of early (<5:30) and late (>10:30) slots open for the next month or so... and only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Don't know if they're just using OT to get rid of those particular time slots, and saving prime times for themselves, or if that's just what happens to be open currently.

Interesting... I wonder if this will actually take the "shine" off it a bit, and perhaps - in time - make it easier to get a rezzie? Time will tell...

I tried 4 people for 7pm tonight and got this error message:
Babbo Ristorante does not offer online reservations in this time slot. Please contact restaurant directly for more information.

I tried 8pm and got the same message. So I guess they are holding back the primetime slots from OpenTable.com.

Yeah, it seems to be only weekdays, and only certain time slots, and only certain party sizes... if you hit the "see next available" button a whole list of days will come up with available times, as long as they're within 2.5 hours of your selected time. For people like us, who are fine with dining late, it's great - I'll take one of those 10:30 tables gladly. And if my folks are in town, who dine as early as humanly possible... the 5:30 slots work out perfectly.
