Cafe des Artistes Puerto Vallarta Package. Is it good?

redskins123 Apr 13, 2012 07:50 AM

We will be flying to PV by the end of the month and wanted to surprise the wife :-)

I just reserved for a 3-course meal at Cafe des Artistes, is this place reliable?

I reserved here:

I followed a link from Cafe des Artistes web site here:

The price is 45 usd for the meal, the price seemed reasonable when looking at the menu but wanted to make sure there is not a better deal out there.

Thanks for the help!

I should think you'd be OK, I'd just confirm with Cafe des Artistes when you get there. It's a wonderful restaurant and the prices very reasonable for the level of sophistication of the place.

      Thanks a lot!

I did call Cafe des Artistes and they told me it was OK.

I will make sure to report how everything goes!

We stayed there last year and ate at the restaurant several times. It was outstanding! We never expect really good food in Mexico, but this was top rate. And we're from Chicago, love to eat, and know good food. Enjoy!

I wasn't going to go there, but yes--what what what!??

Maybe dannykAHN has only been to beach resorts, where it is usually harder to find good restaurants.

actually, to clarify, we ate at the site in Punta de Mita -- not PV. Ourstanding. And yes, I was referring to food at beach resorts. NO idea about restaurants in PV, but there were some really wonderful places in Punta de Mita -- an hour North.
