Staying at the Fairmont on Mason in May~ Looking for Great Bistro and more...
My fella will be celebrating a bday on the weekend of May 13, and we're coming from Seattle.(Via overnight train-- how romantic!) and staying at the Fairmont on Mason. I was thinking that on one night we'll check out the famed Tonga Room since we love all things Vintage. I'd appreciate some suggestions about:
1) A French Bistro for dinner or lunch (not too over the top $$$)
2) Any other quaint, creative spots for dining which you think are cozy and wonderful?
Of course, any other suggestions thrown my way, i.e. sweet little music spots are A-Ok, too.
Thank you so much! If you need any help re: the Seattle/Olympia area give me a shout.

We always enjoy Rue St. Jacques on Jackson @ Taylor.
See their web site.

I'm not sure bistro fits Rue Lepic but it's within walking distance, about 500 feet, at least on the way to. Back is a little more challenging, uphill.
