Has anyone tried cooking beans or rice after using them as pie weights?

Flavor-wise, doesn't sound like I'd do it.
Nope. Not good eats after being baked. Better to save the beans in a container and reuse them for blind baking.
I have not. I have been told that beans won't cook up right after having been baked in the oven. I have no personal knowledge of this nor have I seen any article saying that they tried it.
