Taco joints around central park

Looking for an inexpensive taco/mexican joint around central park, as far north as 80th or so. Take-out is fine. Suggestions, please. Thanks.

Upper East Side or Upper West Side?

UES and UWS are both fine, just not further north than the 80s.

The brownstones and doorman buildings around Central Park aren't exactly prime taqueria territory. If you don't mind walking a bit, you can check out Cascabel or Dos Toros in the UES. The taco truck on 86th and Lexington also has its fans.

That's funny! 5th Avenue and Central Park West are two of the most sought after addresses in NYC. No taco stands.

You have to go far north of the 80s, as in E Harlem, 116th Street and Lexington, which again is a few avenues away from the park. El Paso Taqueria 237 East 116th Street.

West side in the 100s -
        Noche Mexicana 842 Amsterdam Avenue.
Taqueria y Fonda a few blocks north.

I know you don't want to go above 80 - but I think you will have to in order to find what you seek.

a few avenues away from CP.... excellent taco truck on east side of 110th street and 3rd avenue. Best $2 I've spent all week.
