Where can I buy bucatini in DC?

I'm making amatriciana, and spaghetti just won't do. Anyone know a place that sells bucatini in the District?

  1. Eastern Market Grocery inside eastern market often has it call ahead to check or ask that they order some if you have the luxury of time.

    1. Call Vace's 202-363-1999
      3315 Connecticut Ave NW
(between N Ordway St & N Porter St)

Good idea. Also maybe Dean and Deluca in Georgetown?

Vace's had it 3 weeks ago. I brought some back to Iowa.

      2. I expect Litteri's would carry it.

        A. Litteri, Inc.
        517-519 Morse Street, N.E.
        Washington, D.C. 20002
        (202) 544-0184 Store

        1. Also if you want a walk on the wild side you could try A. Litteri, Inc. down in the wharehouse district behind Union Station.

          Its address is:

          A. Litteri, Inc.
          517-519 Morse Street, NE
          Washington, D.C. 20002

Call ahead though to make sure it isn't a wasted trip, although you can always find something good by just dropping in.

          Phone: (202) 544-0183

          1. Thanks, all! I'm going to try Litteri's because it's on my way to work in the morning and looks like a cool place. But I appreciate everyone's input, and will now be able to find my favorite pasta in a snap in almost any part of town.
