Nice vibe, the food is mediocre. Try Lola Gaspar or the Playground (both within a block or two from Chapter one) for a much better food experience.

FYI. The playground has a burger which is not listed on the menu, (I guess cause they only serve it Medium rare) and is pretty darn good.

yeah, they kept mentioned that the burger was not on the menu, but that we could order it.

but i didn't know that the burger is only served medium rare, and that there are no substittuions on it?

Thought the food wasn't that great at Chapter One nor was it bad. I did like the space and the drinks. Also enjoyed the desserts there too.

meh. I thought the food was amateurish, but it may just be a misalignment of tastes and vision. The drinks are very good, though.

The only place I like in DTSA is the Crosby.

And if I'm not mistaken due to the restaurant scene in OC, if the Playground where situated in LA, it would get no play.
