Favorite combos for juicer?

We are addicted to our new juicer and have been fooling around with different vegetable/fruit mixes.
So far my favorite is beet, celery, carrot, apple , jalapeno.

I'd love to hear what you like.

  1. So far my favorite is the classic Apple & Carrot, using both green and red apples. I've also found that juicing Asian Pears with cucumbers comes out oddly like watermelon, which I know is kind of hard to juice, so it's neat. And I always throw in a hanful of kale or spinach, because the flavor doesn't come out too much, but it's so good for you.

Since my last post, I've discovered that juicing a mostly peeled lime goes great with jucing strawberries! Its like instant strawberry limeade :) As I said, I still always add in a bunch of spinach or kale for nutrition oomph, but it still comes out delish. A friend of mine even had a glass and loved it.
I'm currently discovering beets, which you have to use in small amounts, but are really sweet and give the juice such a pretty color. Next up I'm planning on trying a savory juice, with cucumbers, tomatoes, and maybe a clove of garlic (a site recommended it, but even though i LOVE garlic, I'm not sure i want to drink it...) but we'll see...

    2. I make a power fruit juice in the morning -- 2 blood oranges, a container of blackberries, 1 cup of red seedless grapes, 2 plums, 1/4 pineapple, 3 large carrots. It makes a fair amount, and if it seems too "sweet" you can add a half lime with the rind (makes it nice and citrus-y) or cut it with ice cold water.
Another one I like is this -- 1 cucumber, 2 pears, 1 cup green grapes, 1/2 lime.

      1. The joys of juicing! I make quite a ritual of it and juice large quantities that I freeze for later use. (Since the thing is such a pain to clean. )

When I first got it I tried some weird stuff like horseradish, and veggies that just didn’t work.

        Here’re my current favs:

Yams-this is a recent addition and it’s delicious.

To the above I add nut milk, cranberries, bananas, and mangoes for an incredible smoothie.

wow, yams, huh? I am intrigued by that.
I am really liking parsley and chard with celery and carrot, which I just had for dinner.

        2. Cucumber, pineapple and ginger
          Pear, orange and mint
          Carrot, basil
          Tomato, celery, lemon, thyme

but about an hour ago my friend whipped up a chilled strawberry, cucumber, mint with a shot of balsamic that was super good.

          1. i wish that i could find a good recipe that tasted like v8. i have spent a crazy amount of time trying to get close, but to no avail. :(
