Fancier breakfast spots in downtown Edmonton??

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a fancier & good quality breakfast spot in downtown Edmonton .. possibly closer the City Centre Mall.

It's not quite as fancy as the Hotel Mac, but I enjoy Cocoa's right in City Center Mall (3rd floor, near the movie theaters).

Hotel Mac has breakfast. Not sure if they still do the banana bread French toast but if they do it's almost irresistible. Plan for a light lunch though as it's pretty rich.

The Mac Donald hotel Sunday brunch buffet is what I imagine they do on an expensive cruise ship, if that it what you are looking for. The Union Bank restaurant is probably a good place for a simpler but elegant breakfast..

I agree. On our recent stay in Edmonton at the Union Bank Inn we had a lovely breakfast as always. This time on the menu was a very good mushroom ragout served with eggs and toast points (did not have the toast points as I have celiac but loved the dish nonetheless). The menu changed since we were there in January.
