klebb Apr 11, 2012 07:13 AM

We had planned on going to Bacchnalia but it is closed on Sunday

Can you give me some recs for fine dining that will be open?

Any particular part of Atlanta?...its a big, spread out city. I'd recommend Empire State South, not sure if that qualifies as "fine" dining. Its damn good dining, though.

I was going to say more or less the same. Empire State South would be my choice.

Virginia Highlands, Decatur, Midtown, Buckhead would be preferred

I actually went to Empire State South when I was in town in March -- It was great but I'm looking to try something new

What do ya'll think about Eugene or Cakes and Ales?

Eugene is a great choice for you, especially if you are looking for an alternative for Bacchanalia! Havent been to Cakes and Ale since they opened in their new location, but have heard nothing but positives.

Might want to check and see if Abattoir is open on Sundays... might not be, especially is Bacchanalia isnt... just over the bridge in the Provisions district and have had amazing meals there in a beautiful setting.

Overall, though, Eugene would be my top pick for you! Enjoy your night.

I agree. Eugene would be my first choice. Let us know how it goes!
