Our daughter is getting married in Newport in September. We are looking for a place to host breakfast the morning after for around 40 folks. Any reccomendations?

Are you looking for strickly breakfast, or more like a brunch. Where are most of the guests staying? Will they have transportation?

the atlantic beach club..aka the ABC...big facility right on 1st beach....that would be an average cost per plate in newport...for something fancier with a higher price tag you can rent a room in a mansion on bellevue and have it catered...there are dozens of catering companies and the mansion rep will pair you up with whatever youre looking to do...for the cheaper side of things, you can try the best western hotel across the street from the Newport Grand casino...they have a banquet room large enough and their per plate cost is very very reasonable.....hope that helps and congrats on the wedding!

We stayed at the Hyatt for a few days in December and breakfast there was very good. They could easily accommodate 40.

Have you had the wedding yet? What did you decide upon for your breakfast/brunch venue? If it's already happened, how did it go?
