Orso or DB Bistro for dinner

We will be seeing Once next month on a Saturday night. it is on 45th street. We have been considering DB Bistro or Orsos but I am open to your recommended suggestions. Zagats gives a higher rating to DB than Orso but Yelp posters liked Orsos better. We are walkers and have no problem walking 10 blocks in any direction. We prefer Italian, French or American and prefer tables not right on top of each other. My husband does not want to wear a jacket either, price is not an issue. Have been to La Ravista, Tratt. Trecalori and Beccos and do not want to do that..want to try a different place. Thank you.

Orso. But you don't go there for the food, although it is good.
Consider The Bar at the Modern.

I always like Orso. The big problem is getting a table. You have to call 30 days in advance about 10:00 A:M.

Not a fan of DB Bistro, and haven't tried the other. For French, I'd recommend Marseille instead.

Orso and Marseille are my favorites in the theater district. I have not been to DB.

DB is terribly expensive and not worth it to me. A bit stuffy and seems to attract a more well dressed crowd. Haven't been to Orso in years but I liked back then, and it is really part of the theater scene with a long history.
