Syrup Flavors at IHOP

Does anybody out there remember the original syrup flavors (from around 1960 or so) at the International House of Pancakes?

I'm wracking my brains!

i just saw an ad in a woman's magazine that IHOP is selling retail some of its flavored syrups. unfortunately, the ad did NOT mention my fave, the butter pecan. http://ihopathome.com/

no problema -- i just still would love to get some! i don't know why they are not retailing the butter pecan flavor.

That's it! Thought it was Peach, but Apricot was my very close second fave.

But, Perkins has apricot syrup, as well as "twinberry."

LOL I think we need a support group for boysenberry (or as Spencer Tracy called it in "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," boosenberry) syrup fans! That was the best part of going to IHOP.

When I recently visited an IHOP for the first time since age 6, the multiple syrups (especially boysenberry) were what I looked forward to most. The waitress rolled her eyes when I asked. Dang.

At some point, the syrups got superseded for me by the bottomless coffee pot. Lately, though, the whole idea of eating at IHOP has been superseded by the relentless mediocrity of the food.

At my local IHOP (Marlboro, NJ), there are consistently 4 flavors on the table: blueberry, strawberry, "regular", and butter pecan. Haven't seen boysenberry since I was a kid. My favorite syrup is the butter pecan, but if I eat pancakes, I nearly pass out, so I don't. :)

We have a 3 year old, so we go semi-frequently. Plus it's adjacent to Costco.

From what I remember: Boysenberry (my favorite...got slapped because I started drinking it right from the container), maple, strawberry, blueberry, peach (?)...I remember one being a light orange...but what did a 5 year old know in 1960?

I wasn't born until 1970, but my whole life it's been strawberry, blueberry, butter pecan, boysenberry (my favorite!) and hot regular syrup. Note I do not say maple!
