Milan for Hungry Guys
Five hungry guys (who are in their 50's and know food and wine) will be arriving in Milan after 7 days of gruelling cycling in the Dolomites. We have one night to eat and drink. Arriving around 3 PM on a Saturday and departing around 10AM on the Sunday.
Any suggestions about which area we should stay in, which streets or neighbourhoods are packed with bars and restaurants, and any specific ideas would be appreciated. Even one great street would be fantastic.
I've never eaten here, but I was reading about this place, and it sounded like hungry guys might like it (although do note that it is note Milanese food, but the cooking of the mountainous region of Abruzzo):
The Victoria Cafe puts out a tremendous spread of free food at the cocktail hour, so you could make that a pit stop before dinner,
Milan's neighborhoods all have their own character, and their bars and restaurants, so it is hard to advise. Maybe if you look through that website you'll find what appeals to all of you.
