Ah the days of $50/per lb morels. I bought my first batch this season at Fox & Obels and they were charging $70/per lb. Good luck with anyone ever telling you where to find them other than generally (ie near rotting Oak trees in the woods etc). Nobody will tell you where they get theirs. My dad used to go foraging with friends for morels in the spring and hen of the woods in the fall and they made him wear a blindfold till they got to their favorite spots! My sister, who lives downstate, has been finding some in her wooded yard but not very many.
