    1. You've eaten there or no?
Is it good? Fresh? Made there or factory dim sum?
      Carts/trays or order off menu?
      Pricey? Cheap?
      Wide selection?
      Mostly fried or steamed?

I ain't driving to Pinole for a name. It's okay if you haven't eaten there, but is so, say so please.

I've taken my mom there for dinner a couple of times. They have a very broad menu, crabs and lobsters in tanks, roast ducks and pork hanging.

We had crab both times (salty egg yoke once, ginger and onion the other) and it was pretty good. The gailan with ho yo is good too.

Haven't tried the dim sum, but definitely worth a try unless you are craving duck yee foo won ton, in which case go to China House up on San Pablo.

Less than 20 minutes out of Berkeley. Take the Pinole Valley Rd exit, turn left and go down 1 block short of San Pablo.

          1. Good to know it's still there.

            1. had dim sum there 2 years ago. thought it was pricey (s)2.5
found the food bland. possible reasons:
              -old meat
              -little msg use
-little use of seasoning beyond salt, sugar, msg.
-service so so., nice lay out-floor, stay away from the drifty doors though.
