What to do with sour cherry syrup?

I bought I huge jar of it (just the syrup, no cherries) from a Persian market the other day, mostly because it was pretty. Besides making saffron sour cherry rice, does anyone have any ideas for other recipes? Many thanks!

Vodka and sour cherry juice in some form seems like the way to go.

Make Sour Cherry Jelly. It's one of the prettiest, tastiest jellies I make.

I'd also use it in a marinade or glaze for pork.

Cook it with some cornstarch and use it for cheesecake topping

Some folks make drinks with it, using one or two fingers of the syrup with ice and sparkling water. A sprig of mint with the drink is popular. "Sour cherry" syrup, depending on the formula used to make it, isn't necessarily sour. Taste it and see if it's something you might like to use as a pancake or waffle syrup or use it to infuse a pound cake (bake the cake, poke holes in it and drizzle the syrup over the top)
