meringue cookies in the east bay

Does anyone know of a bakery that makes good meringue cookies, ideally in Berkeley?

Bette's To-Go on Fourth Street usually has them, but call first.

La Bedaine makes a cookie that is essentially 2 meringues with what I believe is a ganache center keeping the 2 meringues together.

That's what I was thinking, The term "meringue cookie" could mean a lot of things. This week I'm thinking it means suitable for Passover. Eclair Bakery in Berkeley used to make good meringue cookies, although I haven't had them in years.

Thanks all. I am looking for the simple stuff - just egg whites and sugar. Bette's has them but a little pricier than I was hoping (I need quantity for a dessert).

Then the Eclair should suffice. Actually, have you looked at the ones at Trader Joe's? You know they're super simple to make yourself, right?
