Brickell Ave area eats
Hey all,
I am in Miami every few months for business and usually stay near Coral Springs. This upcoming trip (in 2 weeks) I am staying in the Brickell Ave area near the Rickenbacker Causeway. I usually make plans and reservations (last trip in January I went right from the airport to The Federal to meet friends) but this trip I am trying not to have any fixed plans. Will be in town from Saturday-Tues.
I am looking for suggestions in the Brickell, Coconut Grove and Little Havana areas but am open for other neighborhoods. Interested in recommendations for breakfasts, lunches and dinners, casual & laid back. Open to any and all types of cuisine. My motto is "no fear and no allergies" when people ask about restrictions. Also if anyone can recommend some great juice bars that would be great.
Also would love to find some great ethnic food stores to do some shopping.
Thanks in advance,
Jon

Since Downtown and Coral Gables are reasonably close to Brickell / Coconut Grove / Little Havana, I'd suggest ->
neMesis Urban Bistro (downtown)
Eating House (Coral Gables)In Brickell, River Oyster Bar - hit it at happy hour for the 1/2 price oyster special.
In Coconut Grove, Jaguar's ceviches are pretty reliably good.
In and around the area ->
I've had good tacos at Jacalito on Flagler near Douglas Rd.
Rincon Asturiano for Spanish tapas on 17th Ave. near Flagler St.
A little further afield ->
Panther Coffee in Wynwood for coffee and then hit Crumb & Parchment or Buena Vista Deli in/near Design District for breakfast (or vice versa).
Check out Delicias de España near corner of Red Rd. & Bird Rd., great Spanish market.
