In need of a cocktail similar to a Negroni but...

with something non-alcoholic mixed in and, less bitter to suit a guest who liked a Negroni but for finding it a little bitter and, too "boozy".

Any suggestions? I tried splashing in some blood orange juice but it didn't do the trick for them.

She does like citrus flavours and nothing overly sweet.

You could try using Aperol in place of Campari in an Americano)

Yep. Americano is a good way to go. Maybe try just Campari with soda or OJ as well.... Combining everything, Vermouth, Campari, OJ and sparkling wine is typically a crowd pleaser as well.

The Americano (supposed precursor to the Negroni) substitutes soda for the gin.
