Making a reservation at Chez Casimir
I will be in Paris for just one day on July 4th. Thanks to the community here, I think dinner at Chez Casimir for my travel companion and I before we jump on the 9:13pm train to London out of Gare du Nord sounds perfect. Does anyone know if it's possible to make reservations via email or online anywhere? We're traveling from outside of the country so trying to avoid the long distance and time zone difference phone call. Thank you.

Paris restaurants don't answer emails actively. The best is still to call.
Chez Casimir is theoretically open all day, but I have not seen diners before 7pm.
I think you can dine before 7pm but do verify when you reserve.
And also, when you arrive, remind them the time you need to leave.
It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the station. Let's say 10 minutes before ou have luggage and don't want to stress. If I were you I'd leave the resto at 8:30pm.
Lastly, this is a very stupid point on my part: both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est are nearby. Don't confuse the 2.›1 Reply
