Bigmista's Barbecue at the Sierra Madre Farmers Market

Peripatetic Apr 6, 2012 12:06 AM

Bigmista's was at the Sierra Madre Farmers Market on Wednesday and plans to be there again next Wednesday:

I was really disappointed when he didn't get enough support at the Eagle Rock FM. Hopefully we can persuade him to put Sierra Madre on his permanent rotation.

Thanks for the heads up. Facebook said the FM is open until 8 PM. I hadn't checked Bigmista's website in quite a while and noticed a lot of changes. Wow! Wednesdays for lunch in Harbor City. Is he running silmultaneous operations on Sundays at Atwater and Long Beach?

Yes, he's at the Kaiser South Bay Farmer's Market on Wednesdays (located in Harbor City). The pulled brisket sliders were very tasty.

So disappointed that El Segundo is now off their rotation of farmers markets.

No we don't. The guy we used to get it from went out of business. Now we use cherry, hickory, and maple.

Hmmm, sounds like the Chino Hills Farmers market might lose out to Sierra Madre at some point. This is what we had when we visited the Chino Hills Farmers market on Wednesday: http://goo.gl/SdUl1

UPDATE: looks like Bigmista's is at the Altadena Urban Farmers Market today https://www.facebook.com/BigmistasBBQ . Not sure if this is a permanent change.
