A winter tomato is not worth the price
Anyone seen this? A sad commentary on the food industry.

I read "Tomatoland" last early summer, so it is not new just now.
The author was interviewed on NPR back then as well. I'd recommend for the insight the book offers into the despicable conditions that exist for the pickers, and the abuses perpetuated by the industry. It is not exactly a food book.
