Your favorite fresch-cut french-fries?

Hey Kids!

Mother's Day is approaching and my delightful 71-years-young Mom loves fresh-cut fries more than anything on the planet.

I wonder if you have some suggestions for truly great fresh-cut fries?

Prefer not-too-trendy locations, and a sit-down spot for Mom's day lunch, but open to learning about ANY great places you'd recommend. Bonus points if they also do a great gravy and/or real poutine plus other good menu items.

Penrose does the ultimate artery clogger English style chips.

Slightly thicker than standard frites and fried in beef tallow.

Didier does first class frites.

Cherry Beach chip truck!!!

Great view and plenty of seating. Just got back from there and it was wonderful.

I know where Cherry Beach Studios and Keating Channel Pub are... nearby?

It's at the very foot of Cherry Street. Past TNT. Just take Cherry Street to the very end and you'll be there. It's wonderful. Bring your dog if you have one. Fabulous spot.
30 acres of fenced-in off leash area for dogs.

Burger Shack on Eglinton and Old Yorke F & C on Laird...2 of the best.
