Sakura - Westport

Ate here for the first time last night and not a huge fan. Arrived at 7:30PM and sat at the sushi bar. Service was beyond slow and the first waitress did not even know what Sake was. Finally, a second server came and took the drink order and did not return again for a good 20 minutes before she was found. Appetizers were the Shrimp with tofu in a ginger sauce which was so awful that we left most of it. The Yellowtail with Jalapeno was good. Sushi rolls were the Spider roll and another that we made up and both were fine. For the amount of money spent, I would go somewhere else for a much better meal and experience.

There is far better sushi in the area...Fin in Fairfield is our favorite, Matsu Sushi in Westport is good, as is Kazu in SoNo.
