Beef Ribs dinner at All Star Wings - HUGE, HUGE RIP-OFF!!!!!!!! AVOID!!!!!!!

Went to All-Star Wings at Markham for some take-out this evening. Got their B-B-Q Beef Ribs with House Salad. The 3 pieces of meatless, ultra-tough and burnt ribs cost $14! But that was nothing when compared to the $4 'House Salad'! $4 for these and 'sans dressing!!'??!! They must be kidding!! Here, a picture speaks a thousand words!!!! Still starving after $18 of food!!

The House Salad is a pile of plain ol' lettuce? That's pretty awful. A meal like that reminds me of Leo Getz' rant about how they f*ck you at the drive through in Lethal Weapon 2.

Migawd! Four bucks for what looks like a few pieces of seemingly wilted Romaine lettuce. And no dressing, you say? That has to qualify as the ripoff of the year to date in the GTA's restaurant scene. I defy anyone to try topping that over the next nine months. Charles, it's good to have you - rather than me - taking one for the team every now and then.

I couldn't agree more Charles - I've never understood the affection some have for for All-Star. Even their wings feature cheap, from-the-bottle sauces. I think people are dazzled by the number of sauce choices, but, like 2-for-1 Pizza, quantity doesn't replace quality in my book.
