Vintage whiskey?

I was given an unopened (seal is intacted) bottle Of Old Grand Dad bourbon whiskey. On the seal it says it was made spring Of 1975 and bottled spring Of 1983. Before I drink it, does anyone know if thete's any value to it? The labels are perfectly intact.

Whiskey does not (really) age in the bottle. Any additional value would be to a collector, and even then, only if there has been a significant change to the mash bill, and only if there is a collector who wants to pay extra for an old bottle of eight-year old Old Grand-Dad.
