Naveen
Polapady was charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon and administering a noxious substance, (he threw spices at the thief'). Just goes to show you, spices have to be cooked with food and served on a plate, not thrown at someone who is stealing your property.

I was wondering what happened as I saw a clip on an multicultural tv news station but I didn't know what happened because of the language barrier (just saw the sign from the restaurant and a clip of them fighting). I did understand though the lawyer who said that Harper called him to offer his support.

I saw this on the news yesterday and felt so badly. Naveen and his wife are lovely people. The video footage of this thief repeatedly going after their property is so distressing. I appreciate that it's a fine line when you take the law into your own hands but Naveen is not the culprit here. I haven't been to Maroli in a while but this is a good reminder to make a return visit.
