Carnation Cafe in Chinatown Closed

The Carnation Cafe in Chinatown closed, I believe less than a year after opening. Diamond Hill Cafe will be opening in its spot. Does anybody know if the Flushing branch is still open?

If you meant Carnation Bakery on Kissena Blvd, yes, it is open. Great green bean, /red bean, and winter melon cakes.

Thanks. Fun story. But Chandavkl, you really don't know how to use chopsticks? I arguably use them better than a fork, and I'm not Chinese! I just hold my fork a bit funny. :-)

Really. They say you use chopsticks the same way you hold a pen or pencil, but I don't write like anyone else. Teacher tried to change the way I held the pencil in the first grade, but gave up. To this day writing for more than a few minutes is painful for me.

I hold my fork the way I hold my pen or pencil, but that's unorthodox. My chopsticks technique is more commonplace.

I agree! Chandavkl is the Wilt Chamberlain of Chinese restaurants!
