PBS "America Revealed"

greygarious Apr 3, 2012 04:30 PM

This series debuts April 11. One of the segments - I think it may be the first - focuses on food.
Where it is grown, how it is manufactured and transported, who has access, etc. I heard something about them backtracking from a pizza delivery all the way to the source of the ingredients. Sounds interesting.

Sounds like 'Follow that Food' in reverse, no?

I wonder if it will show how we have industrialized - and made more dangerous - our food supply.

The show was fascinating, showing the big picture of our food. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful. it probably could have been 2 or 3 times as long and still not covered everything, but I found it very worthwhile.
