A friend and I are planning a little practical joke on a so-called wine expert. I'm looking for a few really expensive empty wine bottles. Anyone know where to find them on Van.Is.? Thanxs.

Ask the people who sell or drink really expensive wines if they have any bottle returns they will give you.

i'm thinking maybe you're going to put tj's 2 buck chuck in a fancy labelled bottle? which is kind of funny but i'd doubt that any legit place would give you their own labels ... but maybe you can fabricate some of your for your own "new" vineyard in your own backyard -- play on your your surname, boat name, street name, dog's name, soon-to-be former-friend/spouse name, etc etc. You get the drift.

A graphic designer in any location can make the "label" design and email it to your local print shop for printing, and then you apply to your bottle of choice.

You do the rest in dimly lit tasting / dining room. ... and we hope for a follow-up on real chow of vancouver.
