Bachelorette Party in Minneapolis!
I am planning a bachelorette party in the Minneapolis area... We are starting at the mall of america (for antique photos and dinner) then heading out in a limo to the downtown area to hit up some bars... None of us are really into the bar scene and we really have no idea where to go. We would rather not stand in lines forever and covers are a drag...... Any advice would be great!

Brothers, Sneaky Pete's, Bootleggers, The Drink are all prime bachelorette bars. Some if you show up in a limo are free. Cover is less than $5 generally and usually the bride to be gets in free if not the entire party. The Shout House is a piano bar that is fun. The bride will be harassed in a good way:)

It's been a decade since I spent any time at the downtown bars. However, if you're not "into the bar scene" then you might stay away from 1st Avenue. I'm sure that there are some great bars there, but I'm assuming they are still dance clubs and meat markets. There are some great bars more along Nicollet Avenue (The Local, Britts) and a bunch of others that might be more fun than a hiphop dance party.
Don't forget that there are about 15 bars at MOA, so you could kick things off with dinner, a few drinks pub crawling along, a bachelorette ride on the roller coaster, and then off to downtown!
