We dined at heirloom last nite.....our last visit ended before it started due to the deafening noise. This time we choose to go very early ( bonus as it gives 1000 open table points) and take a table outside.
Breads served were outstanding...my husband had the chopped salad with crab and shrimp which he said was excellent. For entrees he chose the Amish chicken ( very good) and I had the eggplant/pepper terrine ( just ok).
Overall nice meal on a beautiful evening. Only downside is the menu isn't extensive enough to make it a frequent dining option. I also would live to see more vegetarian options. The terrine seemed to be simply roasted red peppers covered with grilled eggplant...not very creative. The sides of risotto and grilled veggies are what made the dish. I know from my meals at blue sage that more creative vegetarian options are out there,
Sylvia, I think they deleted it because I had put in a link to my blog. I highly recommend Heirloom. Even though I read in some reviews elsewhere that it is noisy, it wasn't last night. Granted, we arrived at 5pm but by the time we left (around 6:30pm), it was quite full and still fairly quiet. The food is wonderful, the place is very pretty and the service if very nice. Please post if you go.
