Regina and Calgary recommendations
Greetings fellow chowhounders,
I will be in Regina and Calgary on business and would welcome any suggestions for breakfast and lunch in the downtown Regina area (I'm staying at the Holiday Inn on 11th Ave); and all meals for Calgary (staying at Le Germain).
Happy eating!

Can't comment on Regina, but for Calgary:
Blink Restaurant for fantastic pacific northwestern cuisine with a lot of ingredients sourced from Alberta and BC. It is less than a block from your hotel and is one of my favorite restaurants in the city.
http://blink-calgary.com/Char-Cut, the restaurant in your hotel is also a local favorite.
http://www.charcut.com/For more casual eats there is some very tasty Vietnamese food in China Town. The board favorites seem to be:
(Banh Mi) Thi Thi

(Pho) Pasteur Saigon

I thought the recommendations in this thread were good for Calgary:
http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/828249Charcut is in Le Germain hotel. Catch, Home Tasting Room and Saltlik are the closest to the hotel, as well as Sky 360 (restaurant in the Calgary Tower)
